There are new studios popping up all the time from industry veterans. If they have that much money, why can't they they put out stuff? Can't buy big studios because you're worried about deal blocking? Then look towards support studios to help your current ones. You lost the $69 billion acquisition on AB-K, ok sure.

Like what's going on with Fable? Is it the end of Crackdown? Is gears done? Killer Instinct is killed? Perfect Dark? Maybe revive Project Gotham Racing? Maybe have smaller games like Viva Pinata? I dunno, there's so much they can do, but are they willing? Letting Bethesda go be Bethesda kinda defeats the purpose of buying them. They also need to maybe REALLY step back and look at what they are doing. They can still have yearly iterations like Forza, but they should look at it more like a yearly game then, as if it's a true sports title like NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, otherwise change it, into more of a Gran Turismo-like and focus on iterations every few years, but providing solid support. or if your marquee titles don't have resounding success like what happened with Halo.

If you chase titans like TLoU, HZD, GoW, etc etc. They need to have one major team, and then a few smaller teams.

You want to stay relevant, you want to keep WoM not just for the games, but the studios. Not like that type, but smaller, faster, easier-to-make affairs. But, I personally think MS needs to hit more Hi-Fi games.
